The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and Newcastle Knights currently sit in the bottom half of the NRL ladder, so both teams will be desperate for a win on Sunday.

While the two sides come into this match off losses, they pushed their respective Round 6 opponents all the way, and showed plenty of promise.

Who will make it count at Accor Stadium?

The Sporting News has the key details for the clash.

Bulldogs vs Knights tips and prediction

On paper, these teams are a fairly even match, so it is not an easy one to pick.

The Bulldogs have only played two games at home this year, but have won both of them – an impressive victory over the Roosters and a thumping of the Titans.

They were also very impressive against the Storm last week, nearly snatching two points in Melbourne.

While the Knights are a talented team when they click, consistency has been a problem in 2024.

The new halves combination of Jackson Hastings and Jack Cogger has helped in that department, it is hard to have full confidence in Newcastle just yet.

Our prediction: Bulldogs by 4 points
