Tyran Wishart and Jonah Pezet will both remain at the Storm long-term, re-signing with the club until the end of the 2025 season.

Following the long-term deals for their big names including Cameron Munster and Harry Grant, Melbourne are now looking towards the future and keeping some of their brightest young talents around.

Wishart was the club's Mr. Fix-It during the 2022 season, filling in at multiple positions despite predominantly playing hooker throughout his junior footy.

The 23-year-old joined the Storm from a successful Illawarra junior system, and has made a huge impact around the club during his 15 games to date in the top grade.

Pezet is yet to make his NRL debut for Melbourne, but has huge wraps on him and plenty of smart judges believe he could be one of the competition's elite playmakers in years to come.

The teenager earned Man of the Match honours in the U19s State of Origin clash this year for NSW, and has already progressed through the Jersey Flegg side into the QLD Cup competition.

Pezet will move into the Storm's top 30 roster next season and his new deal locks him in for a further two years.

Melbourne have also extended talented young forwards Alec MacDonald and Trent Loiero during the off-season.

The side will kick off their 2023 campaign on Thursday, March 2nd against the Parramatta Eels.
