Texans wide receiver Tank Dell sustained a "minor wound" in a shooting early Sunday morning in Florida, the team announced Sunday afternoon.

The 24-year-old was a bystander in the shooting, in which 10 people, including Dell, suffered non-life-threatening injuries, Houston TV station KPRC reported. The shooting occurred outside a private event at a Sanford, Florida, nightclub, per multiple reports.

Dell was taken to a hospital but has since been released. He was traveling back to Houston on Sunday, a Texans spokesperson told ESPN.

The second-year star is coming off a sensational rookie season for the Texans.

Dell brought in 47 receptions on 75 targets for 709 yards and seven touchdowns, showcasing chemistry with fellow rookie QB C.J. Stroud. But his season came to an early end when he broke the fibula in his left leg in a Week 13 win against the Broncos.
