It wasn't hard to see the relationship between Stefon Diggs and the Bills slowly deteriorating leading up to the recent trade that sent the four-time Pro Bowler to the Texans, even if all parties insisted everything was fine.

Diggs was seen expressing his frustration toward Josh Allen at different points over the past two seasons, including during a playoff loss to the Bengals more than a year ago, and Allen admitted last offseason that he and Diggs did have to work out communication issues.

On social media, Diggs didn't give the impression that he was perfectly content in Buffalo. He shared a handful of cryptic posts, including one the day before the trade taking issue with the idea that he wasn't essential to Allen's success.

As it turns out, Diggs might have some gripes with Bills fans, as well.

Here's a look at the latest social media activity by Diggs that has Bills Mafia up in arms.

Stefon Diggs liked tweets

Diggs liked a tweet claiming the Bills have "the worst" fan base and referring to Bills Mafia as "bitter." The tweet remained liked by Diggs as of Wednesday afternoon.

A quick scroll further down Diggs' likes reveals that he apparently took note of some unhappy Bills fans in March before the trade to Houston was ironed out. Diggs liked one tweet that reads, "Tough decision but it’s time. You are too much of a distraction. Disappointing when needed most. Wish you all the best in your search," seemingly calling for a trade out of Buffalo.

Another post liked by Diggs reads, "You ain't good enough to be this much of a diva." That tweet was posted in 2020, before Diggs ever played a snap with the Bills, but it still found itself among the wide receiver's most recent likes.

Diggs clearly notices when fans take shots at him on social media, but he's used it to get his messages across, as well — even if they aren't always clear.

Diggs caught the attention of football fans in March with a tweet many believed opened the door for a potential exit from Buffalo.

A discontent Diggs also unleashed a series of cryptic tweets weeks before the Vikings traded him to the Bills in 2020.

Diggs' social media activity certainly seems intentional, and he noticeably hasn't unliked the tweet ripping Bills fans for their supposed bitterness. The new Texans pass-catcher will have his chance at a revenge game against Buffalo in 2024, but he won't get up close and personal with Bills fans given that the game is in Houston.
