The Cleveland Cavaliers are through to the second round of the NBA playoffs after prevailing in Game 7 against the Orlando Magic. 

Donovan Mitchell followed up his 50-point Game 6 performance with 39 points in Game 7, propelling the Cavs to a 106-94 win to book their spot in the east semis for the first time since 2018.

After trailing by 18 points midway through the second quarter, the Cavaliers steamrolled the Magic the rest of the way, with four other players finishing in double figures on the night. 

Caris LeVert added 15 points off the bench, while Max Strudd chipped in with 13. Evan Mobley had an effective night on both ends with 11 points, 16 rebounds and five blocks. 

The Cavs will now face the Boston Celtics in the second round.
