With Al Hilal storming away in the Saudi Pro League title race, the King Cup remains Al Nassr's only route to a trophy in the campaign run-in, with five league games left this season.

Al Nassr were knocked out of the competition at this stage last season, losing to Al Wehda, before Al Hilal eventually went on to clinch the trophy in May 2023.

Is Cristiano Ronaldo playing vs Al Khaleej?

Ronaldo returned to the Al Nassr squad for their 1-0 league win over Al Khaleej on April 27, after his two-game suspension was reduced to one on appeal, following his red card against Al Hilal in the Saudi Super Cup on April 8.

The Portugal international was dismissed late in the game, for an elbow on Ali Al-Bulaihi, and the Saudi Football Federation suspended him for the second time this season.

He is expected to lead the line against Al Khaleej today.

This cup game comes just four days after Al Nassr beat Al Khaleej 1-0 in league action but Luis Castro could stick with an unchanged team. Talisca remains sidelined through injury and Sadio Mane could start on the bench.
