Barcelona will try to reach their first UEFA Champions League semifinal since 2019 when they host Paris Saint-Germain at Montjuic.

Xavi's team won a thrilling quarterfinal first leg at Parc des Princes last week as Raphinha scored an excellent brace and Andreas Christensen came off the bench to head the winner.

PSG came from 1-0 down at halftime to lead 2-1 before subsiding and Luis Enrique will hope for a more telling impact from Kylian Mbappe, who existed largely on the margins of the initial encounter.

The Sporting News is following Barcelona vs. PSG live, providing score updates, commentary and highlights as they happen.

Barcelona vs PSG live updates, highlights, and commentary

2 mins before kickoff: Loads of whistles for the Champions League anthem from the locals. Manchester City were ahead of the curve, guys. The visiting PSG contingent are also making some racket.

4 mins before kickoff: The teams are in the tunnel. Some pensive looks. This is huge.

15 mins before kickoff: Ousmane Dembele is back in Barcelona to face his former club. The France winger was superb in the first game, scoring a wonderful goal and also hitting the woodwork. He celebrated said goal, which meant a bit of a frosty reception outside the stadium earlier.

35 mins before kickoff: It will be interesting to see how Pedri and De Jong's fitness holds up. Pedri hasn't started a game since March 3 due to his latest muscle injury and De Jong's only start in that period came last week. It means Roberto and Christensen's suspensions feel even more ill-timed. Fermin Lopez and Oriol Romeu might both have important jobs to do off the bench,

1 hour before kickoff: Achraf Hakimi returns from suspension for PSG, meaning Marquinho can revert to centre-back. Warren Zaire-Emery and Bradley Barcola start after impressing from the bench last week when they replaced Lee Kang-In and Marco Asensio. Those are among the substitutes.

1 hr 10 mins before kickoff: The teams are in. Pedri, who came off the bench to provide a sublime assist for Raphinha's second goal, is the only alteration from last week's Barcelona XI. Club captain Sergi Roberto is suspended alongside Andreas Christensen, who scored the winner in Paris.

1 hr 45 mins before kickoff: Barcelona's players have arrived at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys. Much has been made of their temporary home not being cut out for nights like this to the same extent as Camp Nou. It's unquestionably a very different setting but Barca have settled into their new surroundings, winning five and drawing one of their past six home matches across all competitions.

2 hrs 10 mins before kickoff: Luis Enrique heads back to Catalonia for a game that could do plenty to define his PSG tenure. The former Barcelona boss has done plenty to remould this team in his image. His PSG are a younger, more dynamic and tactically flexible outfit than the previous sides that have failed in their attempts to secure European glory. We saw that as they ransacked Barca early in last week's second half. But suffering defeat when the pressure ramped up felt very much like the PSG of old. Tonight Luis Enrique needs to show a definitive break from that history.

2 hrs 40 mins before kickoff: Barcelona and Xavi have looked like a collective with the weight lifted off their shoulders since the head coach announced he would leave at the end of this season. The Blaugrana are currently on a six-match winning streak across all competitions and you have to go back 14 fixtures to find their previous defeat — a helter-skelter 5-3 LaLiga loss at home to Villarreal on January 27.
