Ebanie Bridges will defend her IBF world bantamweight title in an all-Australian showdown with Shannon O'Connell this weekend.

The 36-year-old champion comes into the bout with a 8-1 professional record, but will be dealt a tough task against a fellow Aussie in O'Connell (23-6-1), who is on an eight-fight winning streak.

The fight will act as the co-main event on the Josh Warrington vs Luis Alberto Lopez card, which will be held in Leeds.

Here's everything you need to know about Ebanie Bridges vs Shannon O'Connell.

Will the fight be streamed in Australia?

Fortunately for boxing fans, the fight can be caught on Kayo Freebies.

It will also be broadcasted via DAZN globally, except for Australian and New Zealand fans.

What belt are Ebanie Bridges and Shannon O'Connell fighting for?

The two Aussies will be fighting over the IBF women's world bantamweight title.

Bridges won the title back in March, defeating María Cecilia Román via unanimous decision, with the clash against O'Connell set to be her first defence.

The more experienced O'Connell has been in tremendous recent form, winning eight fights in a row and climbing the rankings across all organisations.

O'Connell is currently the top-ranked contender for the IBF, IBO and WBA straps.

The other current champions across the division are Jamie Mitchell (WBA), Yulihan Luna (WBC), Dina Thorslund (WBO) and Melissa Odessa-Parker (IBO).
