AFL Supercoach 2021: All the player position and role changes

Every new edition of Supercoach, competitors eagerly await the player positional and role changes as designated by the game's organisers.

Players can be aligned alongside either one or two positions, with the decision based on where they played during the 2020 season

Will Patrick Dangerfield be designated as a midfield/forward this season? Is Dustin Martin going to retain his forward status alongside his midfield eligibility?

Patrick Dangerfield - FWD/MID

The Geelong gun spent significant chunks of the season in the goal square to earn forward status alongside his midfield position.

Dangerfield averaged 113.9 in 2020 despite his time up forward and with the arrival of Jeremy Cameron at the Cattery, you can expect the Brownlow medallist to have more midfield time in 2021.

Josh Dunkley - FWD/MID

Josh Dunkley - FWD/MID

The contested ball-winning machine found himself in the ruck and in forward line roles last season after the emergence of Bailey Smith as a midfield gun.

With the arrival of Adam Treloar to the Kennel, it will be interesting to see if Dunkley's midfield time is further reduced in 2021.

With the strength of Brisbane's midfield growing through the improvement of talent such as Hugh McCluggage and Jarrod Berry, Zorko found himself occupying a dangerous forward role during periods of 2020.

After a turmultous 2020 because of an off-field incident, Sidebottom played through the forward line in patches after returning to the team.
