So far, Mumbai Indians, Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans are out of IPL 2024 playoffs race. Mathematically, they can attain just 12 points, which will fall below the minimum points requirement this season.
Now, DC are set to host LSG on May 14, with the winner set to earn two more points. With KKR and RR on 16 points apiece, and SRH on 14 points, one of CSK, DC, or LSG are assured of becoming the fourth team with at least 14 points. And, we might not have to wait till May 14 for that to happen.
