Luck isn't on the Knicks' side during the 2024 NBA Playoffs, at least as far as injuries are concerned.

Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Pacers dealt several blows to New York. Jalen Brunson exited in the first quarter due to a right foot injury, though he returned in the second half. Then O.G. Anunoby was sidelined with a hamstring strain he suffered in the third quarter.

New York is already without Julius RandleMitchell Robinson  and Bojan Bogdanovic for the remainder of the postseason.

Anunoby was having arguably his best game in a Knicks uniform before his injury, scoring 28 points on 10-of-19 shooting in 28 minutes. The 26-year-old forward sustained the injury late in the third quarter on a fast-break layup.

The Knicks defeated the Pacers in Game 2 but lost Games 3 and 4 in his absence. Here's the latest on his hamstring injury and his status for the rest of the series, which is tied at 2-2.

What is O.G. Anunoby's injury?

Anunoby went down with a hamstring strain late in the third quarter of Game 2 and was ruled out for the rest of the game with a sore left hamstring, TNT's Chris Haynes reported.

The Knicks forward fell after a fast-break layup in the third quarter and struggled to get up. Anunoby eventually hobbled off the court on his own, but he exited the game and did not return.

This is a new injury for Anunoby. He had previously missed time with the Knicks earlier this season due to an elbow injury . New York finished the regular season 20-3 with Anunoby in the lineup.

How long is O.G. Anunoby out?

Anunoby missed Games 3 and 4. There is no timetable for his return, SNY's Ian Begley reported.

Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau said before Game 4 that Anunoby hasn't started running yet and is doing "pool work."
